Data collection
When you create or sign in to an account, Brain Shift processes your email address, password (when you use email sign-in), and the authentication details needed to identify your account. If you use Sign in with Apple or Google, Apple or Google provides the identity information you authorize, such as an account identifier and, when available, your email address and name. Supabase securely processes this authentication data for Brain Shift. We do not sell this data.
Practice progress, journal check-ins, optional notes and goals, and app preferences remain stored locally on the device. Personal recordings and user-selected imported audio are not uploaded by Brain Shift.
If you sign up for the free trial on brain-shift.com, we collect the email address you provide so we can send your trial access and occasional product updates. You can unsubscribe at any time, and we do not sell or share your email address.
Accounts
Brain Shift requires an account to use the app. You may create one with an email address and password, Sign in with Apple, or Google. Account information is used to authenticate you; it is not used for advertising or sold to third parties.
Analytics and tracking
Brain Shift does not include third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or tracking. Apple, Google, and Supabase process authentication requests under their own privacy terms when you choose their sign-in services.
Audio and recordings
Built-in audio files are bundled with the app and play locally on the device. Personal recordings and user-selected imported audio stay in local on-device storage and are not uploaded by Brain Shift. They remain there unless the user removes them, the app, or its data.
Payments
Brain Shift Plus is a $99.99/year subscription with a 3-day free trial, offered through Apple's App Store. Optional practice packs are sold separately as one-time purchases. Apple processes payments and maintains purchase records under the Apple Media Services Terms and Apple's privacy policy. The app reads StoreKit purchase status to unlock purchased content; Brain Shift does not receive or store payment card details. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled in your Apple account settings before the end of the current period.
